We’d say treat yourself, but great bed linens shouldn’t be a treat: they should be the norm.
Sun King Bed Linen Cleaning Process
Our professional cleaning and special care will not only keep your sheets clean and crisp, they will extend the life of your bed linens, blankets, comforters and pillows.
To remove dirt, stains, and odours, all bed linen is cleaned using our European Wet Cleaning process which involves the use of:
- Organic detergents,
- Salinated water, and
- Organic oxygenated agents.
Bed sheets are lightly starched per industry norms and standards, after which they are French Pressed to perfection using stainless steel pressing plates. Note: no Teflon coatings come into contact with your bed linens. Ever.
When it comes to your comforters and blankets, our advice is this: don’t try to wash them at home! The average, everyday washer not built to accommodate the size and weight of most blankets, duvets and comforters. The result being that doing it yourself could not only potentially wreck your bed items, but it could wreck your machine as well. Which could turn out to be a pretty expensive wash cycle! At Sun King not only do we use top of the line modern washers which are big enough to accommodate these large items, our dryers too are specially equipped. The end result? A softer fluffier appearance, and even distribution of the fill material contained in items like duvets and comforters. (We think you’ll agree, lumpy duvets are the worst!)
Finally, all bed linens are returned to you in reusable, zippered, breathable storage bags with transparent sides, allowing you to easily see what is stored inside.
